How to properly store your glasses?
Eyeglasses are a necessity for some people. So how to protect your glasses wisely and make them last longer. Please refer to this blog.
Firstly, use both hands when taking off and putting on glasses, holding both sides of the glasses. Taking them off and on with one hand for a long time will lead to unbalanced frames. Distortion and twisting of the frame will make the glasses-wearing experience uncomfortable. Still, they will also cause the centre of the lens to be off the centre of the eye, resulting in a wrong lens prescription.
Wipe your lenses with a cloth specifically designed for wiping eyeglass lenses. You can purchase extra spares if they are easily lost. Using such cloths prevents scratches on the surface of the lenses, which can damage the film layer and lead to a decrease in light transmission and a decrease in lens clarity.
You can use watered-down detergent to wash your glasses, but do not use strong alkaline soap.
Do not use hot water to clean the film layer. Hot water can crack the lens coating.
Please do not leave your glasses in your car or other places where they can be exposed to direct sunlight in summer. High temperatures can deform the glasses and damage the lens coating. Store glasses that are not worn in a cool place in a case or pouch.
These are some of the most basic points to note. We hope that you will take good care of your glasses.
